Community Service
As some of you may know or seen Crown Entertainment has adopted-a-highway for almost a year now. The location of the adopted highway is the Grant St. ramp, just one exit away from the Buffalo State College exit. So this week Crown Entertainment went out and served their community, by cleaning both sides of their adopted highway. Take a look below......

It's been a long time.......
Yes, it has been a long time and so much has been going on. First we must start off by congratulating ourselves as a people for making history on November 4th, 2008. In case you have been hiding under a rock....Barack Obama will be our future president!
That’s right a black intelligent, courageous, ambitious, and might I add family-oriented black man will soon hold the upmost power in the United States of America. With that being said, let’s continue to come together as a people as we did on November 4th, to make changes and improvements in our country, neighborhoods, communities, and ourselves!

By the way, big up to the Alphas with their idea of marching to the polls. This did not only motivate students to vote, but to also to unite as one. Crown Entertainment definately supported the movement and showed their faces.

I KNOW YOU PROBABLY WONDERING WTF IS "HOOD ROCK"....LOOK NO FURTHER THAN RHYSON & THE HEIST. THEY HAVE BEEN CAPTIVATING AUDIENCES FROM NEW YORK TO CALIFORNIA. ITS A COMBINATION OF ROCK AND HIP HOP. WE GOT A PERSONAL BIO FROM THE LEAD MAN HIMSELF RHYSON HALL.....

Yes, we know it has been a long time. On the behalf of Crown Entertainment, I ask that you please forgive us for not updating the blog soon enough.
As we all know since the last blog update Crown Entertainment has hosted several events, and has been involved with the community. From the free ice skating event, to Got talent?, to Ballin-for-a-Cause.
What were the results?????
Ballin-for-a-Cause was a great turnout….Shout out to Team Roc who took the trophy, along with the grand prize of $500. Also, shout out to AASO for the support. It’s funny how Crown strived for this event to take place, and how many difficult situations we went through to get this event. Even though it was for a good cause! For some who are wondering what was the good cause???? The good cause was for Sarah Minnie Badger Foster Care, in which Crown Entertainment was helping raise money for. With that being said, Ballin for a Cause is looking like an annual event… So, you might want to get your team ready for next year!
Not to mention, Got Talent? With Step Expressions was a great turnout as well. Crown Entertainment did not expect the numerous amount of people that showed up. UPD had to show up to guard the door because of the capacity of loyal supporters. We were also happy to see a very diverse audience and group of performers.
We also like to thank Def Jam/Island Def Jam for the sponsorship of the Free Ice Skating event, as well as those who came out in the cold to show their loyalty support!

If you haven't notice it is Black History Month. With that being said Crown Entertainment feels the need to acknowledge our college community and our strong supporters about Black history by giving you some great facts about black history......

The month of February was chosen in honor of Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln who were both born in the month of Feburary.

Haha, you were thinking Tiger Woods was the 1s. Nope! Lee Elder was the 1st African-American golfer to play in the Masters Tournament in 1975….But, Tiger Woods was the 1st African-American to win the Masters Tournament.

Lol…well I didn’t….well I never really thought about it….but anyways Charles Henry Turner was the 1st person to discover that insect can hear.
Who was the 1st Woman to become a millionaire in America???
Most African-American females have heard her name before…Madame C.J. Walker because she invented hair products, but before Oprah came along or any other American (I did not forget African before the American, she was the 1st which included out of American women too) woman who is a millionaire….Madame C.J.
